In-Depth Video Questions

Hey guys, another question, this time video related. I have an Pioneer F700BT with reverse camera input (a single video component cable) and a Infrared camera with mirror image as the reverse camera. If I wanted to add another camera (mounted in the front), how could I switch back and forth from one video input to another? Would this require some sort of line switching unit or something else? A link to a similar product would be very useful.

Also, if I wanted to add a recording system to the camera(s), how would this work? I imagine it involves a DVR (which I'm still quite un-familiar with) and a hard/flash drive of some sort.

Any help or links are appreciated, thanks, Kyle.

You could use the front camera as your AV2 input. How clear is your backup cam, do you have any links for it?

I have my iPod cable/USB controller using AV1, and backup camera as, well back-up camera. Is there a (3rd) video in? Should go check my harness.

It's an eBay camera, for like $20 w/ shipping. Don't be fooled by the price, it has a great picture, and the Infrared works amazing, better than the name brand one my buddy bought locally for his 700 (he bought it at Radioshack, forget the brand name though, but it wasn't Pioneer). It's only about 22mm diameter, so it's very small. I can take some pics later on.

Awesome, I've been wanting to get one that price is good too. So the backup camera takes up an AV input? Let me grab my manual
