you would get much more sql with a bigger box i run 1 kicker l7 15 in a 6.6 cubic foot box tuned at 28 and it whams i wouldn't add another until i had 6.6 more cubic feet :) but thats a great setup for the ranger! i only had one twelve in a small box in my ranger, you must have one of the louder ones!

are you dumb or just blind? theres quite a bit of excursion going on in the video's and like i said the camera is pretty crappy, i like how you know all about set up's...let me guess i should wire these at 2 ohms instead of .5 too?
anyways thanks for all the great comments guys but they were sold today

At least i warned you first...
I was just saying. they needed more power! those subs have mad excursion capability (thats what makes high SPL's). that's not what i was seeing in the vid though. (especially since they where in that large of a box)
I saw two subs running at half their capability.
If it were me I would have only run one on that amp
now that would be a site to see.
I would have saved money and had similar output with better sq.
thats just me and my stupid non-sensible ways though.
im an a-hole i know.
yes i would tell you to run them at 2 ohms.
but its all about how many watts you can tell people your pushing, no matter if their doing anything or not, right? typical.

Yeah, its not his fault that crunch makes horrible amplifiers, lol (either way, im still jealous of those super awesome woofers anyway, i could only wish to have some myself)
anyway.. to coldnapalm.. having a gigantic enclosure doesn't necessarily make woofers play louder or give higher spl readings, the correct size enclosure and tuning based on the parameters of the particular woofer to the application in which its being put in is what determines the numbers everyone seems to love to quote, there enclosures are usually tuned around the resonant frequency of the vehicles open cab to help achieve those super high numbers, you realize the lower the tuning frequency doesnt actually help get higher numbers, most of the spl competitors play in the higher ranges of 50-150hz and those burp vehicles don't sound good at all

idc what ohms its at truthfully, i tell everyone their running off a gp3000d, which is about the only quality amp crunch makes,
and if you have anything better to show me of yours more props to you, i never said this was the loudest system ever or even on the site, rinconman's is probably twice as nice as this, it was a temporary setup that i had fun making and it got loud, the guy that had these before me did a 148 in a trunk of a chevy off of 1200 watts a piece
but of course theres always going to be haters no matter what, so goodluck selling your alpine and kenwood stuff man
