joe's truck seemed to smell a little bit for a few days after he painted his roof on... I layed out the eDead on the floor and back paneling and one side of the ext. cab.... noticeably a large difference, with no smells

well, i got my FATMAT today, and started puting it on...here is a pic...i really like it, its acually just slightly thicker than dynamat extreme (which i have over the brackets of my 6.5's in my doors). i have the floor done, and two layers on the back wall....ill do the 4 doors and roof tomorrow....which i should have enough to do two layers there

Looks real good! When Joe and I did mine with eDead, we made sure that we covered the ENTIRE floor, hell, I even went up past the pedals and even on top of the tranny.

I tested out my deadening efforts today....well worth it. It dried in about 12 hours and isnt sticky at all. Smells a little like tar, but i imagine that it will go away. What really ground my gears was that I also discovered where my rattle was coming from....my Dome light....I thought that i had fixed this problem area before so i skipped it, Sooo now i dont have the clear plastic cover over it(that was my remedy from before) and Im going to either stuff some foam or polyester batting under the head liner in that area to deaden the light housing with pressure, or im gonna do it up waaaayyyy redneck style and im going to plop on a couple of Sims Vibrations Technology: Limb Savers (theyre for dampening the vibration on bows) onto the OL. Or both....
