Need help with new sub
My old MA audio sub has died but i got about 10 years out of it . THe amp is still working fine . I want to replace the speaker
The amp is a MA audio m180i and i can't find much info on it . one guy is selling one on ebay and he only listed this info .
M180i 2 Channel 180w x 2 RMS 400 x 1 RMS bridged ... it says this at the top then it also says
MA Audio 180 watt 2-Channel M180i 400W Max 2 Ohm Stable. Bridgeable
here is a link to it

based on the power output i found some subs that handle 400 watts rms max and 800 peak. on crutchfield

this speaker is available with dual 2 ohm voice coils or 4 ohm which one do i get? is there anything weird with wiring them? I'm thinking just one negative one positive. take it off my old speaker and onto the new. is there any more to it with dual voice coil if there is only one speaker?
