Icon4 How much are you willing to pay?

I look around and I see that power cable is way over priced, My question to you is what would you pay per ft for 4gauge 2gauge and even 1/0

Does this whole color scheme of the wire even matter, Clear Red, Clear Black, Clear Blue and so on?

Edit " Just the Main Power Cable"

for what Gauge? and does color matter

My point is I am thinking of buying spools of 2gauge and 4 gauge Soft braid power cable but solid red and black and pass it on to others at cost.

shops out here in az charge $1.50 a foot for 4 gauge power wire. zero gauge might be like $3.50 a foot.

Just get welding cable. just as flexible but way cheaper.

Edit:

For reference, one time on eBay I found 75' of 1/0 welding wire (same exact stuff from weldingsupply.com) for $70 shipped. That's less than $1/foot. I can tie it in knots its so flexible. I've still got 40' of it chilling in my garage. It did 2 runs to my amp and my big 3 and the positive run in a Towncar already.

Yeah thats pretty much what I can get but i can get it in red black and i think yellow, I was thinking of getting a spool of 100ft and just passing the savings to people who need 4 gauge or 2gauge or 1/0

I hate seeing people run 8gauge cause wire is over priced in most places.

I could use 40 or 50 feet of 2 or 1 gauge if the price is right... so keep me in mind if you do it...

You sir are my hero for the day!

And I guess to the OP you need to beat $1.07/ft on 2gauge for it to be worth it.

go to jobbersite.com and give them a call and see what they want for something like that. My buddy works for them and gets really good deals on just about everything car audio related.
