Good ipod cord for deck?

I have just a jvc deck and I use a itrip fm transmitter to listen to my ipod. On the back of my deck, it has a input for like ipod cables. So would you suggest I get a cord to run from the input hole on the back to the ipod for better sound? It just seems fuzzy with the transmitter. A cd sounds great. Is there anyway without being super expensive to make my ipod sound good like a cd or anywhere close? Will the quality of the cord make a huge sound quality difference?

If your deck is designed for the use of a special brand specific cord that plugs into the bottom the Ipod, that is the best sounding. (i have this on my panasonic, controlled via the deck as well)

Find Car Audio/Video Gear that Fits Your Vehicle at Crutchfield!

If not, use your RCA input on the deck, then plug that into your speaker jack on the ipod.

Moral of the story and the bottom line: FM transmitters SUCK.

I vote link #1, so long you have that input on the rear of your deck.
