met up with a guy and picked up a Resonant Engineering MT18 in a 6cube box for 375, heck of a deal, but sat in his car and trust me im used to loud but this scared the carp out of me, i could barely sit in it, it was just playing music also

look at the same magnet on a 10 then look at the 18, a little difference

im going to be putting 2 mpower acoustik a3000s on it and set them for about 1400-1500 apiece so about 3000rms for daily, should be goood...

you ever heard of alphasonik subs? not many people have, but you seem to know alot of stuff so i was just wonderin.

 

yea, they are okay, only thing i dont like is that they are made by audiobahn, i was goind to get an amp of theirs but i got a good deal on an a3000 so i picked it up, but they are good street beaters i guess never heard one though

 

they sound pretty nice, or atleast the 800 series ones. its not as crazy as whatever you have, but its affordable and has good quality IMO. it sounds nice

 

bamaboy, do you like the Power Acoustik amps? They seem really cheap for the power they advertise.

the are very solid amps but take a couple hundred off probably like 2000rms @ 1ohm would be a good bet i got mine off cardomain.com for 290 and free shipping
they also have no internal fuses so you have to put a 150a fuse right before the amp but it is very solid

im going to run 1400-1500rms from each amp so around 3000rms, should be crazy,
you cant imagine how much louder this sub is than everything ive heard


and they arnt the best sounding subs but get the job done, but im used to my XXX whihc is one of the better sounding subs out today and i can handle the way the MT sounds, if you like the way and L7 or L5 sounds you would like the MT
