Can i still use my stock speaker covers in the extra cab part with these speakers? i just want them more concealed. thanks

Yes, I used my stock ones with those speakers. Great speakers, so much better than stock.

Yep, just put those same ones in yesterday. It works fine.

 

Had mine in for almost 3 years now.

 

hmm, wish i woulda seen those today, i bought some 6x9s and they were a little hard to fit in there with the stock covers though, but i made it work with a little persuation from my cresent wrench lol but theyre better than the stock ones, wut about the front ones are they 6x9s or those 6x8s and is it a real ***** to pull off the door panels? cause i wanna do the front ones now

 

you can use 5x7's or 6x8's and they fit in the stock hole but make sure if its a 3 or 4 way speaker that the mids and highs in the center of the woofer doesn't stick out too much bc you could have some trouble getting the door panel back on. the door panel comes off easy theres i believe 1-2 screws in the bottom of the panel one in the door handle pull and one in window handle if you have manual windows. to get that one just pry around the side of the handle to release the cover to get to the screw and i believe it's a torx t-20 or t-25
