Polk Momo MMC6500 vs. Kicker SS65.2

Has anyone listened to these speakers side by side? If so what are your thoughts? It seems like the only speakers you can listen to are the lower end stuff. I listened to the Polk DB and the Kicker KS Series and I like the polks much better.
Maybe someone has input on a better choice for around $250. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I am huge into alpine so maybe some alpine type R's. I have them in my truck and they sound wicked. I was looking at the kickers too but when I heard the two side by side I went with the alpine they seemed to have softer highs if that makes any sence.

I got the Polks and I like them alot. I don't remember what the tweeter is made of exacttly, but I do know it's not a metal so the highs aren't too harsh. Haven't heard the kickers though, so I guess I'm not all that much help. I would recommend going to a dealer and listening to speakers and see which YOU perfer.
