Help

Hey, i own a 94 extended cab ranger and well when i got it, it had NO back seats! (no seats that flipped down from the sides) so i have 0 seats in the back.. so i thought to my self mind as well fill that space back there and then i just thought of some speakers, you know that has the box (as you can see im not knowledgeable (spelling) on audio equipment).. i would really like to have some speakers back there to just fill the back and give me some Bump you know??.. the back is useless right now so.. i really could use some ideas!.. thanks again.

Subwoofers? Go to an audio video store in your area and buy a set. They're expensive though, just to warn you. You need subwoofers, box, amp, cheap wiring kit. See if any of your buddies are selling their systems cause you get better prices from friends than ripoff stores.

I would say at the very lowest price $400 if you want a decent system.

tell you what. instead of rushing just save up man. that way you get decent things and it will sound very nice. trust me. that be the smart thing to do. those gaps can be fill easily with a sub and box.

you could but to get a 100% true fit it would have to be custom made

I take that back. I would be willing to bet $400 for a good system.

well, they'd get the job done but sounds like some offbrand.

I'd try a box though with a lil less plexiglass. Kinda like this

Not saying that is a good brand at all. Just those other boxes seem a lil too much plexi to me, maybe not a problem.

But yah, i guess you could get something from a local best buy, and if you dont like it you just get bigger subs. You can buy empty boxes. Try a crutchfield magazine www.crutchfield.com for quality stereo equipment.

I recommmend you install subs yourself, its pretty easy, jus be careful because you are working with sensitive electronics!

My system:

$350 for eclipse headunit, really high quality and best looking headunit ever(in my opinion and my friends haha)

$179 for subwoofers an bandpass ported box at pawnshop, low quality subs but htey sound great. I prolly got jacked a bit on price, pawnshops are gay!

$100 for A/D/S Powerplate 550 watt amp 4 channels. I bridged it and it powers the 2 subs very nicely, i really like the amp, everyone tells me A/D/S made(key word) great products.

$20 for wiring kit.

So $300 for sub system, 650 for total sound system.

And my system isn't even top end or anything. But it gets it done nicely.

Well what i was looking for, was just something a little louder than my regular speakers. anything is louder than that i just want it louder and maybe a little more clearer.
