Has anyone made a box that replaces the armrest by pointing the sub backwards so it points to the back of the cab. it allows you to put a bigger sub in because the magnet would be in the portion of the box where the armrest was. just wondering if anyone has so i can tell if it would be worth the time making.

 

Wow very strange you asked that, right now i have exactly what you described 1/2 completed. Ill tell you right now its not easy if you get a 10 or bigger because of the way the box will have to be shaped to taper down in size to fit between your seats. I'm doing it with a 10 inch Clarion shallow sub (its only 3 something inches deep) and even then its tight. I did a test of it today with the enclosure part made but still without the armrest/console part and so far its fawking sweet. I think once it it all done it will be a very sweet mod, but not easy to do. If you have the time, go for it!

 

Yeah i have alot of time to work on it considering i have a woods class at my school. right now the only thing i havnt really worked on is my system. right now i have a bazooka tube and its ok but im ready for an upgrade.
