Hidden Sub / Sound system 2011 Sport

I saw an older thread but it didn't have exactly what i was looking for so I thought i would make one up.

I wanted a nice sound system but also retain the back seat area and keep everything out of site so here it is.

I installed a LC6i, Cadence CEQ-773, 1f stinger cap, distribution block, RE Audio DTS-1500.1 amp , RE Audio XTX800.4 amp, 2 8" Polk Audio MM840 subs, 4 RE audio 5x7 speakers, 2 Polk audio 3.5" tweeters.

All hidden under seat out of view without loosing any cabin space.

if anyone wants something similar I can help you out

Wow that looks great. How does it sound? Doesn't seem like much airspace there.

Thanks it sounds amazing, for the subs I only have the amp at 1/4 power because they are so loud but tight bass response. I calculated the airspace to approx .35cuft to the spec of the subs and added a bit of stuffing to make sure but i couldnt be happier they sound much better than my 2 10" JL audio subs that were in my old truck.

Amazing job. I'm the same as you wanting sound, stealth and back seat. I'm going to try to do this as well.

Nice work man. im curious to see how and where you mounted your tweeters.. polk 3.5" tweeters, is that correct? those are huge.
speaker cloth over the subs would really be a nice touch imo. but very nice work. you should make more of those enclosures and sell them.

I'm really curious about the door rattle, although it looks awesome.

Hey i have since covered the hole with speaker cloth and it looks good. I will try and post some pics of the tweeters soon. Before putting the enclosures into the doors i completely covered the door panel with sound deadening (roofing paper haha) so no rattle either.

I am thinking of making some molds this summer to sell some if i get around to it once it warms up here in canada

I'd definitely buy a pair from you if you decide to make more of these. Just saying.

how much did your system set you back? I'm only 2 hours from ya and I'm thinking about bringing all the parts to your place so I can pay you to install it all!

nonetheless, awesome job!
