I have the RoadyXT and I love it.

My truck had been mudding and some came in the window in these shots, lol -- but here's how I mounted mine:

it looks cleaner in person... you mean it just made the seal look funny? I concealed most wires with cable ties and put them under the mounting bracket...

honestly i hate when people run their antenna's like that. put it on the back, and bring the antenna wiring in thru the 3rd brake light... it'll look much cleaner

Some channels are, and some aren't. It's still FM quality not CD quality and that's true for all satellite radio.

i just got sirius 2 days go and i love it...anyways i wired it through the 3rd brake light, just unscrew it and the coat hanger in the cab, then snake the cable through some of the little holes there, its not hard and it looks good. IMHO i think the way you did it looks bad, in the first to pics the seal looks wavy, but if you say it looks better in person then ill take your word for it. i do like the look of the antenna on the front though.

as of today the anntena is perfect, I moved it to the driver side at edge of seal so it looks streamline... I'm siriously thinking mom would have a wreck trying to read this thing, I mean it has a good bit of work ya gotta do, I want her around for long time... so I'm gonna keep it, when I get brave I'll hardwire thru the radio to power on/off the AUX willl prolly remain the same...unless I install my kenwood... but for now its good :)

It may depend on the radio also. Perhaps the one you got is not oriented towards musical reception, judging from it's name "Sportscaster"?

The RoadyXT unit I have sounds fine -- but some channels do seem to have a lower bitrate and the sound suffers accordingly.

well there all the same mine just has presets to all sports channels, and yea not all are like that... and I'm using the AUX input instead of FM modulator...I'm seriously thinking my FM radio sounds way better than this compressed crap... after my free month, I maybe taking this thing back to Wally-World....

these ppl all claim its better than FM radio...haha no it isnt....

My problem free install,,

2 long screws, screw it to the plastic, I have a Wired FM Modulator, so I flip a switch and turn to the FM station and instant almost cd quality,,

I love the programing, and so do all my friends,, better than anything local and with little or no commericals!
