i want kick panels + components, where to buy???

hey all...i wana add some component speakers to my kick panels...but i know Qform or etc, makes aftermarket kick panels that will directly fit the speakers and my truck....my interior color is that light grey...

so, where do i go to get the best price on the kicks?

thanks!!!

I was looking on Crutchfield and eBay. Sometimes, you can find off the wall stuff on those 'other' Ranger sites.

GrafixGuy Aug 21, 2005 10:04 AM

I think Crutchfield is your best bet but also check ebay

tried ebay, cant find anything

i'm hopeing to get them a little cheaper than reg price....

The thing about those kick panels, is you lose alot of space behind your Parking brake. You can only press it down a few clicks before it hits the speaker.

Who needs a parking brake? That is what the "P" is for on the gearshift thingy. Leave that mother in gear for a stick.

So turn you're tires toward the curb.

Try sounddomain.com They have them in different colors or should, at least. Then go to thezeb.com and buy a set of CDT audio components.

i'm already gonna get alpine type s components

i work for alpine...unofficially...so i gotta rep them

but thanks all!

TippnOver Aug 22, 2005 04:44 PM

also, i noticed soemthing

the ones on cardomain will allow me to put bigger speakers in than the ones at crutchfield...and the crutch ones are more expensive....

guess it's gonna be cardomain

GrafixGuy Aug 22, 2005 05:35 PM

yea I looked there and I thought that was weird....

TippnOver Aug 22, 2005 05:40 PM

but i like the look of the ones at crutch better.....damn....

i'm cheap though :D

Good way to break the parking paw or break a tooth off the parking gear.

Strider0O0 Aug 22, 2005 06:15 PM

yeah make sure the parking brake is cleared.. i've seen many who have to move the parking brake over some after putting kicks in. also, say good bye to what little room you have on the floor as it is (why im not putting anything down there, mine are staying in the doors)

TippnOver Aug 23, 2005 03:52 PM

eh...the way i sit

(r foot extended on the gas, l foot kinda tucked close to the seat) it wont matter anyway....

its my natural position

bamaboy Aug 23, 2005 05:02 PM

if your going alpine atleast go type r components or type X

TippnOver Aug 23, 2005 05:07 PM

my other speakers are type s, and will hit better frequency's than the others..not as loud, but clearer
