dont get infinity they are too picky for power you need to give them exact rms they need, anything more they blow. i recomend checking out elemental designs. http://www.edesignaudio.com/edv2/ thats to the home page. get a set or one of the sq 10s 5yr warrenty. or an 11kv.2 or 11kv.3. they do there sizes different they list them 1 size over what they are, so an 11 is actually a 10 and 13 is a 12. some of there stuff depending on price ships for free. get 2 nine.2 amps bridge one for the sub or subs and then the other for the front speakers. get a set of the 6000v.2 components. and a kicker 0/1 gauge wiring kit off of ebay for like $75 you will have a great system. headunits i like my clarions other than that i like alpine for processing reasons. all i recommend is getting a nice cd player that has 4v front, rear and sub preouts. alpine 9885 is a nice unit. i only run elemental designs for my speakers i havent run the amps in my cars yet, because i was happy with my jl 500/1 and 300/4 and my alpine for get the model number that is in the truck. i have installed many of them and they are soild amps that our underrated. and CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GREAT!!!

Yeh. Ive never heard of a sub blowing because of that lil over powering. Maybe ilke 100+ watts. Everyone i know that has blown a sub, its because of extreme over powering or underpowering.

I have never heard of what he is saying as well, From what i have read its best too have a little more power then they need, a little over power is better than under power. Underpowering the subs you drive the amp into a square wave and damage the subs due to overheating.
