hehe.......this time my kicker amp killed an 8. I figured it would handle 200 watts, cause it says 200 watts on the back of the sub.....guess not. There wasn't any warnings, it just went out with noise. and I can smell it. The other sub is still going.

 

dam man how many is that uv blown?

 

stop clipping your amp, if you want it louder buy a better system

 

I've got a Kicker ZX750.1 amp. I just haven't gotten better subs yet.

lol, 200 was probably its max, not rms

 

silly me. lol The poor thing froze up. I put my other box back in that has 1 Rockford P1....the rms is 150, and the amp is feeding it around 400rms.....so it probably wont last too long. lol Just wait till I get 2 good subs, they'll be pushing out around 400rms a piece.

 

I have the kicker cvx12 in my standard cab and it sounds awesome. i think it is time for a blow through tho.
