I bought the deck because I needed something in my truck when I shipped my favorite CD player out for a cleaning from alpine. The one I have that I like is all blue - it is in my truck now. This was about 2 years ago when my interior was still stock. I used it for 2 weeks while the one I like was out for service.
sorry bro, outta my budget. good luck

Be very careful. Not all Ipods work with all HU's. Found that out the hard way. I've got a Pioneer N4. Lit says Ipod compatible. That's all. I've had it in my truck for over a year with a 12 CD changer and 3 extra magazines. So I'd have 48 CD's loaded and ready to go all the time. Last Oct. I decided that wasn't enough. So I went and got a new 120 gig Ipod classic. Only to find the classic doesn't work with the N4. It works with the new N5. So I had to go on Ebay and find a 2 year old use 60 gig Ipod. So I now use that one only in the truck. The classic goes with me to the gym.

Good news is, I now have about 2600 songs, 175 CD's, at my fingertips. With room for about 300 more CD's.

I can't remember the last time I listened to my radio. Not even sure if I set any of the pre-sets on the darn thing.

Radio? As in AM/FM? They still have that? Is that what that antenna thing beside my hood is for?

Looks great! I agree with you on wanting the green lighting, so that it appears somewhat stock!

even better? USB with ipod controls through the HU! never used an aux input, but mine sounds perfect with the USB

I don't even own an ipod, but I listen to SIRIUS most of the time and put most of my music on mp3 cds. I try to get high quality mp3 files but sometimes they're hard to find unless you make them yourself.
