Old thread..but was wondering if anyone had more opinions on the different products out there?

When I'm listening to talk radio, like Howard, on the highway...it gets really noisey and hard to hear. Doesn't help that I'm hard-of-hearing and wear two hearing aids.

So I'm looking for something that will reduce the road noise and need to know where to put it since I can't pinpoint where most of the road noise comes from.

this seems to be the best option... not very thick but for 19$ for 12sq feet you cant beat that and since its so cheap you can jsut double it up...

Search for brown bread, I can't remember the url, but that stuff you can end up getting for less and a $/sq.ft.

Some of the best places to put sound deadening are the main large, flat areas, since they can vibrate the most.

Floor pan, Ceiling, Outer door panels, firewall, back wall, etc.
