major problem
So i have an 02 regular cab edge, and in need of a good all around stereo setup, but heres my problem, cant lose any leg room really, can you guys help im thinkin one twelve or two shallows, but i dont know if il lose room or not, i guess i can lose an inch or two but no more, thanks so much
i have a standard cab. i run the MTX thunderform. It is a little small, and low power compared to what some run, but it goes great in a tiny standard cab. It accents the music with bass, not drown you out blow your eardrums bass like some like.
You have a ton of options. Go look around on Crutchfield.

I love my jl but i would agree with grant on the mtx thunderform setup. it's very clean even in an extended cab in your regular cab it would sound awesome!
also pioneer makes some slim subs that sound almost identical to the jl

Honestly - quality sound is 75% amp, 25% sub - with a proper amp you can push a sub well beyond its competitors.. get yourself a 10" sub - as a 12" really isnt needed in our size cabs, and invest the money into a proper amp to power it.
im not to handy with electrical, the box would be no problem, but im scared if i wired it wrong and it burnt up the subs or amp or something, out of all the people that do it themselfs id be the one to brake somethin lol
Just hop on the net, head over to Crutchfield, and they have wiring guides - even videos - on how to do it. It really is very simple. Pair of RCA cables from your headunit to the amp as audio-in, 8/10/12 gauge to your sub from the amp. Power ran from the battery to the amp, and a ground.
