Where to get new speakers

I am looking at outfitting my truck with new speakers all the way around. Does anyone have ideas on what will give me the most bang for my buck. I am going to keep the stock headunit for now but I have an amp for whatever new speakers I get. Also are there any websites that have good deals on speakers.
Thanks for the help all

onlinecarstereo.com
etronics.com
crutchfield.com
ebay.com
bestbuy.com

depending on the amps output. and budget. there are alot fo direct replacement speakers for a reasonable price.
i had some Boston Acoustics in my f150 6.5" speaker and i paid about 100bux and they had a nice smoooth sound.
the upper end pioneers sound pretty good too. as well as infinity
JBL has some coax that are real clean sounding for about 85

Crutchfield is one of the best sites around imo. They have every little thing you may need as well as plenty of information and specifications. They also have a good selection to choose from. The only draw back is there prices aren't always the best.

I've ordered my system all through discountjungle.com They site isn't very good to navigate or for info but the prices were good and customer service was helpful.

Pete

there are was around it sounding like poo but they cost as much as a new headunit. Audiocontrol and JL Audio make great factory radio interface products for those that don't want to loose there stock headunit and controls.

ive worked with there interfaces and they all sound the same. The sound is getting cut down by going throw interfaces and rca's in the end its not even worth it. Ive installed hundreds of set ups like that and never once did one sound good with all the tweaking in the world

2003stealthedge I made this forum because I dont know much about it so dont tell me I dont know what I am talking about because I will be the first to admit it, its great that you do this for a living and with that said I would really like some advice on what I asked. There is no need to bash me or what I know.

The couple Audiocontrol LC8's that I have installed turned out sounding really good. I am getting ready to install a Audiocontrol LC7 or a LC6i into my truck because I want to keep everything looking stock.

I know I need to get new speakers and I am thinking some good 3ways will do the trick but I like the look of the stock deck what can I install that will push out more power but still keep the look up front that I have now. Or something close to it.
