im wondering if i should custom build a speaker box or just do some nice door speakers. what do u guys think. once im kinda on a budget. thankx.

 

how much is in your budget?

 

do u have a super cab or reg cab? do you have any of the speakers yet? what kind of music do u plan on listening to? do u want bass or just highs and mids?

i'd go with upgrading the speakers first. if you already have a decent H/U, speakers will help out a ton!

 

say about 300 or 400 dollars for my budget. rock music. no speakers yet. and bass.

 

speakers if your limited at 3-400... you cant get a good system for nearr 400

 

thats not entirely tru... if he is gunna do just bass my 2 10" comp kickers and zx400.1 amp was only like $550 give or take a few bucks and i built my own boxes...

 

im sure one of your buddies has good subs for sale. you can jew them down or trade for something that you dont want and they do. thats how i get most of my stuff. walmart has pioneer highs. id just replace 1 set like 55 bucks. get an amp 200 bucks wireing for 50 bucks. you can do it for 400 bucks. it wont be stupid loud but it will be a system. remember you can always upgrade later if you dont like it. ive had over 25 set ups from 3 6's to 4 15's in my vehicles. give it a whorl.
