MP3 Recording for Pioneer Stock Radio
I purchased this 2004 Ford Ranger Saturday. I need help with recording MP3's. I was able to record on in Nero 6.0 Ultra that works and has 72 songs in the root directory. All others have failed. What should my settings be: Track at Once, Disk at Once, allow more songs or close disk, how to use directories so I can get more songs on the CD instead of being in the root, if directories work - how to change directories when playing, etc? I have Nero 6.0 Ultra, Window Media Player 10 or 11, Sonic, and I can download Nero 8 Ultra. I just need to know how. My owners manual doesn't get into any of this. This is the Premium Pioneer Stock Radio AM/FM CD 6 in-dash MP3.
Thank you for your time. Brian |
I usually just use Windows Media Player, its worked fine for me.

i use itunes for my cd burning needs. Mp3s with over 150songs... not in folders tho, just one big play list. folders confuse me
|
I have Nero6, Cakewalk, WMP11, Roxio, others...
easiest is Nero or Windows explorer (Send to.. cd drive) I converted all my cd's , lp's, cassettes to mp3 and treat each folder like an 'album' then just select the folder to burn I can usually get 5-6 albums on a single CD-RW burned at a bit rate of 320 or vbr. |
When I use Nero to burn a MP3 disk, I burn it as a data cd with the subfolders as the different albums.

I am good now. It was due to copying files (MP3's) directly from my USB Hard Drive to the CD. I have copied them to the hard drive and everything is fine.

Same here...but I use windows media player to rip a cd, then use roxio to burn it. folders and subfolders, etc. I usually rip cds and load cds to a blank cd-r. 15 cds or so on each disc. saves space. |
