my idea

so ive been doing some searching (internet and soul) and some talking to a few friends and my idea for my system is, replace my blown (or just replace all) stock speakers with Xplod's, then get a kicker comp 10" in a correctly built ported box, with a rockford fosgate r150-2.

so what do you guys think?

I have a kicker CVR 10" for sale with a custom enclosure and an Xplod amp. I love the setup, but I need the money and and having to sell it. Sounds great in a sealed box. Click the link in my sig to check it out

good sub and cheapish door speakers? i love my new kenwood 6x8s 150 a pair from crutchfield highs so clear and good mids without being pushed by an amp.

I have to agree with everyone else on the Explod's, cant go wrong with Alpine, I would
use Kenwood's before the Explod's. The rest of the setup is good though.

thanks for the input guys, as far as the xplods, my good friend (the one who helped me come up with this combo) has xplods in his pickup. he bought the pickup about 4 years ago, and who knows how long they were in there before and his truck sounds excellant, im not looking to go crazy with this, heck im still going to be using my stock HU.
