Need help quick.

I just hooked a small system up in my truck and when I engage the key the sub hits non-stop. Remember I'm an idiot at car audio.

You have constant power to an imput somewhere. Either through the RCAs, maybe a short or bare spot in the wire or a crimp, or through the amp, once again a short, or a power wire crossed with a speaker wire. Start by unplugging the RCA cables, and see if it stops.

There is the possibility that the pre-amp outputs on the radio are fried. But I hope it's just the wires.
