I have a Kenwood. It's my second Kenwood deck. I like it, but to be honest, were I to do it over again, I'd have gone w/ an Alpine this time around. Very similar features, very similar prices, yet the Alpine just rubs me better.
My #1 complaint w/ my new Kenwood is that they dropped the mute/ATT button! This is idiotic. Having a mute button that works in any source (CD/Tuner/Satelite) is imperitive. My last Kenwood (in my '99) had such a feature. The new one has the feature, but there's no button on the face for it, only on the remote. There is a pause button for the CD.. but then that only does the trick when in CD. What's retarded is they could have made the pause/play button do the mute/ATT function in other sources too. It wouldn't have been that complicated.
That feature alone would drive me to another brand.
