Eclipse over pioneer?
Um jus wonding if Eclipse sounds better than Pioneer? And I def know pioneer has an outstanding bass engine, how are the eclipses with bass engines and also clarity?

it depends on what you plan on doing with your head unit. overall, eclipse is easily a much better choice as far as performance and clarity, etc. between those 2 models you have listed, the pioneer is a bit stronger, but that's becuase you picked out one of the weeker eclipse headunits. i'd first take a look at any amps i plan on using, to see if they'll be able to handle the power of the 6.5V preouts (versus the eclipse's 5V). if your amps are alriht with recieving higher outputs, i'd recommend looking at Eclipse's 8 series.. both of those eclipses (8455 and 8445) have 8 volt preouts, and nothing can compare to their quality. stepping up to the better headunit does mean spending a couple extra bucks tho... which is worth it assumming you have the equipment to support it and use it's potential.
