the box has too much cubic ft. for the sub?
what happens if the cubic feet of airspace of the box is more than the recomended air space volume that the subwoofer "needs"??? thanks because im thinking of ordering my sub tomorrow so please help me asap! thanks!

The sub would probably still pound but the sound quality might not be as good. IMO buy the sub that you want and build a box to suit it. I wouldn't buy a certain sub to match a box that I already had.

yea i know! haha i just want to get the right system for my truck that will hit hard!

if there is to much air space in the box cut a pillow up get the cotton out of it and stuff in the box
