x2 I love my KAPPA 682.9CF's. Built in outboard crossovers, plus one woofer cones, a tweeter that pivots, 100 RMS, & 2 ohm voice coils.

Me too, the 3-ways I had in the ranger did really well and lasted a good while too. I love my Pioneer headunit also. They should work out well, they'll be here on friday.

This would be an excellent setup the amp is a perfect match to those speakers.

You should also consider just going with a quality pair of components in the front and properly powering them. You can leave the backs dead or turn them way down. It creates a much better sound stage in the vehicle than having four channels. Sounds like the band is playing right in front of you. of course your not going to get the full depth of the music with just door speakers you need a sub to fill in what the doors can't handle.

Yeah I might add some in the future, I'm not ready to dump a ton of money into it yet. I want to do it right when I do out so I'll just wait a little longer for the good stuff.

They are only $99 a pair on onlinecarstereo. The infinitys have better specs and are $10 cheaper anyway. IDK where you are coming up with the whole no need to amp them thing either, like other speakers MUST be amped and those dont.

x2 truck came with ref speakers and the subs i have are also infiniti reference ... only mistake was trying to push em with an alpine ... but i got a new hd kenwood on the way!
