Just curious, whats the ballpark $ figure for the whole setup by now? I watched the box build and have a fair idea on the costs material and component wise. The little things you don't see just keep adding up, so I figured I'd ask.. I'm guessing my last system ran around a grand, subs, amp and headunit and cables ( and by no means hit hard enough, but the wife didn't like it ) and I was under 1000 watts. I didn't keep up with the cost, because its one of those things the wife just doesn't need or want to know... Just one of those things I wonder about....

Probably breaks down around this.
saz1500- $350 each or so x4
SA8s- $130 each x 12
headunit $250 complete guess.
AGM batts. $250 each x 3
HO alternator $350
1/0 gauge wire, probably a couple runs $200.
Various other small install stuff $150.
I obviously don't know what batteries he is running, but good ones aren't cheap. Don't know what component speakers he is running either, or how many sets. It also looks like his box is made out of birch, and is braced with threaded cable. Getting loud gets expensive.
