I've been listening to some friends with component speaker setups and i love how it sounds. What would be a good set of components to go with in a ranger? I'll probably go with this amp to match my zx1500.1

Are kicker components any good? And I just need the components in the front speakers and can leave my pioneer coaxials in the rear?

Are 6.5" component speakers the correct size?

 

The 6.5 system won't fit without an adapter. Make sure it comes with one or you can pick some up for cheap from Scosche Industries.

 

The Alpine's come with those plastic adapters.

I don't think any of them fit without adapters. But the adapters aren't very much. And you could always make some for really cheap.

 

get these there 5x7/6/8s so they would fit no problem. and i have these in 5 1/4s and there awsome

go kicker they have amazing customer service. my whole truck is kicker 4 speakers 2 L5s i had the lock on my gym bag go through one of my subs and i got it sent to kicker they sent me a bran new one no charge thats the kinda company that earns my business for life

 

i have some 6.5 pg rsd's that are amazing if your interested i have the crossovers and some 16 ga speaker wire with them as well
