new sub-rough idea for box/amp setup

paint ftw! lol

basically my plan will be to remove the bottom trim piece in the back of the cab and actually bolt this whole setup in for slight theft protection. so the whole trim piece on the bottom will be integrated into the sub box itself. make sense?

my drivers side jump seat is already gone replaced by my custom tool box set up. the passenger side jump seat will still be able to fold out nothing in the way!

opinions?

and don't hound me for no pic updates haha. i'm a busy young man but i will get a final product pic up. hopefully i'll have it done in the next two weeks!

Seems like a cool concept. The hump is a tricky thing to deal with. My sub behind my drivers seat barely fit in the "cup" the "hump" makes.

good luck.

oh yea...it's been 21 minutes since your post...any picture updates yet?! hahah

this 12 is awesome though! less mounting depth and air space needed than my 10 so why not?!?!

Nice project. can't wait to see it done. I desperately need to do some work like this soon.

15 channels of amplification ftw.

Do you have any provisions for a mid-hi amp?
Wanna build me something when your done?

Holy wiring batman!!!

You obviously have a better understanding of the electrical aspect than I do lol

If you lived like 900 niles closer I could build you something hahaha. I don't really have the time though I'm not exactly thrilled about building this for my own truck even

This has all been put on the back burner haha. Winter = lots of work to do at the tire shop haha

Still going to happen eventually. Decided against the original design. And the sub haha. I keep testing that JL audio 13.5" slim mount sub and just freaking love it. Gonna save some money up and remove the other jumpseat
