1:the fuse up front is not fusing for the amps, its fusing for the wire, you fuse around 300a for 1/0 and somewhere close to 100a or so for 4ga wire(i think, i havnt ran 4ga in forever)
2: you dont per say need fusing at the amps, some amps dont have internal fusing so you have to fuse them externally, i would say your amps have internal fuses though
3: your best bet on price is going to be the kicker kit, comes with some 4ga wire and distro blocks and different stuff, you will need to buy RCA's though
if you want cheap, go to walmart and get the 5ga kit and see how good it does :(

Kicker, KNU, stinger, tsunami are some good brands

Thanks for that Kyle... I guess I'm going to mill over the ups and downs, take another look at the specs sheets for my amps, and make a decision from there. I appreciate everyone's help!

I got my 0/1 gauge stinger kit on e-bay a while back. It was a good deal (like 50-60 shipped), but maybe I got lucky. I only had to buy a distribution block to make it a dual amp kit. I know I still got the fuse block and maybe even the distribution too. It's a pretty sweet JL piece with accepts 0/1 and has 4 outputs. Each input/output has step down adapter., down to 4 or 8 gauge.

still the kicker is probably going to be the best, has a good bit more wire than the some others, easily the most flexible wire you can buy

here is the pics of how the box is mounted, they are not the best. If your needed better pics of how the bottom of the box is made I can get some when I take it out for the body lift.

Chad I think I see how your box is set up. Basically in the first picture that's kind of up-underneath the box, and along the top is the woofer cone right? I sort of had the same idea planned out for my box, but I was going to try and use the jumpseat bracket with it also. Did you have to get longer bolts to go through the MDF?
