I've got a Kicker Solo baric L5 10" sub behind the passenger seat. You can easily get a smaller 10" or 12" behind the seat.

i had my 8 inch bazooka for a while it was great but i listen to punk and rock, very little bass sort of stuff but wanted a little extra. if your looking to let the neighbors know your coming home from 2 blocks away i wouldnt bother.

I fit two 8" fosgate subs without any problems. They hit pretty hard too.

8's are cute hahaha. but they sure as hell get the job done..i'd say one 8 or 10 sub with the proper rms and you'll be bangin...

i have long legs and gotta be able to put my seat all the way back tho

I like the 8' set up I have a different amp now and as long as I keep the amp behind the passenger seat, my driver's seat can recline against the wall. -Levino |
Nice, imma have to think about that.

what kind of music do you listen to?
another sub that you can consider is the Elemental Designs 7kV2 @ edesignaudio.com it's a 6.5" small box sub (0.25-0.5 cu ft), so you can fit a wedge box behind your seat (towards the bottom), while the top of your seat reclines against the cab the thing that works to your advantage is that you've got an '04...it has ghastly more space than the 89-92: empty: Attachment 207586 with my tools: Attachment 207587 amp, and space for sub: Attachment 207588 |
When I built my custom box I set my driver's seat back like I normally do and got behind the passenger's seat and took measurements. I wasn't able to keep the measurements exact because of the length of the sub, but I got it close enough the I didn't really notice a difference.
