2007 fx series II.

factory radio
both left side speakers not working. Looking for possible solutions are to where to start trouble shooting

You could swap a known good and see if the failure stays on that side or follows the speaker. If it stays on the left you have an issue with the wiring or the head unit. If it follows the speaker you have a dead speaker.

 

Was thinking it may be more of a wiring or head unit problem. Seems strange that both the front and rear speakers both do not work.
