Lol, I dont know. Thats why I need the help. Like type of deck and such. Have some extra bucks from my tax return, figured I would get a sweet sat radio. Keep hearing how awesome they are. Cause reg radio is junk!

Siruis and XM "merged" my mom's Buick has XM in it, and i have a Sirius little car and home kit, its something like this
http://shop.siriusxm.com/xm/ctl10600...ct_vehicle_kit
you can plug it into your car, or you can hook it up to your home stereo. i haven't listened to FM since i bought this thing. i take it everywhere. the channels are great, and i've even got service in the most remote areas of my state.

i didn't get a deal on mine unfortunately. i just renewed my subscription from when it was free with purchase of vehicle. i didn't have it for a year but decided to buy it. the nice thing about it is stations like lithium and octane don't repeat the songs as often as your local radio stations. however, the hits station does since it's a "top 40" styled station.

I have Sirius in my truck, I had to buy a bunch of packages to get some of the same channels I already had on XM.
Not too bad, but I'd rather have just gotten an XM to start with. I figured I'd save a buck using the Sirius reciever already in the Ranger and just adding it to my account.
But in the end I probably could have just bought the XM and been much happier.

I have sort of a negative opinion about sat radio.. I don't really see the point of it. just saying because my wifes fusion had it factory and between the both of us we listened to maybe 3 stations, which never really played anything we liked. the sound quality sounded like a low bitrate mp3, and for the price of the subscription you can buy the songs they play and have them forever. Id rather spend the money on a ipod and mp3s and listen to everything I want to hear. just my opinion.. good to here both sides of the story ya know.
