when I got them..

when I decided they need to stop sliding into my seat when I stop, and side to side when I turn ):

the platform got painted black with white over spray so it wasnt boring. they slid when I took turns, so they are strapped in now.. but, unfortunately they are at height with my back window.. lol.

box that i wanna build to house either 4 8s or 4 10s, to fit behind the seats. it a rough drawing but itd have a huge port in the center that would be screened so nothing would fall in it

It's pretty sloppy right now. I'm going to be moving that battery to the bed and the box is getting carpet. Audioque HDC3 12" being pushed by a MB Quart Discus 2000.1D @ .5ohm
Are you trying to destroy your amp? your amp isn't even rated for .5 ohms. wire that sub in series for 2 ohms at least.. you might loose a whole 1.5db of sound which is impossible for humans to hear that small of a loss. you will have 100% less harmonic distortion and your amp will make it to the end of the year.. don't take my word for it.. just try it! you won't be disappointed..

Im trying to help you out.. just give it a shot a 2 ohms.. see if it sounds better, it really should. you may be getting more watts from your amp at .5ohms but, those watts are doing half the work they could be.. which is why power doubles at low ohms. power is just flowing through your sub with out doing any work. you should find that your sub will hit with more authority at 2ohms. we all want that.

i wouldn't tell you this if i didn't think you would benefit. (im trying to get people to see the light and maybe back me up when i say, more ohms is better to an extent)

Best pic I have right now. 2 Kicker CVX 12s (1 behind each seat) and a Kicker 1000.1 amp. I love that I can still keep stuff in my back seat.

Haha I've thought about putting a camo pattern over the box to match the seats. Whatcha think? I'm in Louisiana so I'm not the first person to use camo in a truck lol. A guy in my neighborhood has a F-150 that has a complete camo exterior.
