New Mod...

So I bought myself a AVIC-D3 today for $560 at Best Buy.. It was an open Item and the person literally put it in the car they had it in, took it out and returned it... It's in immaculate shape and everything is there but the power harness! haah On top of that I paid $80 for a 4yr service plan on it in case anything happens as well as $30 for the iPod cable. Then went to Pioneerelectronics.com and ordered the power cable with speaker output wires and a remote for it for $50..

Total I'm looking at $720 for the whole thing said and done and I'm getting $200 back from Pioneer for a rebate they're offering as well as selling my perfect CDA-9855 for around $200...

Anyways, my question is how do some of you guys have you double dins mounted up? I'm curious, I'm gonna start mine soon.. Pics are much appreciated... Any dash kits you recommend (Links)? Thanks guys!

Teaser of what she looks like for those who don't know...

Yah It retails for I think $1k.. I've been talking to Trent about it, who's jealous, and he knows more than me right now about it, but I'm workin on it... It's pretty badass from what Ive read up so far!

The main reason I have with the motorized flip out ones is that the motor typically goes out on them and that's not something I really want to be replacing often.. Also with our trucks it blocks the vents up there which again, causes a problem, not one I want to deal with lol

I have to trim out the bezel a lil to get a sleeve in there... Not too sure how I'm gonna mount it that's why I was asking how other people have done it and if they've run into any problems... I'm so stoked!

I've been wanting GPS and a newer deck for a good while... I don't like to have things for too long.. I've had that deck since I think 05 so it's time for a new one. Nothing wrong with it, but change is good! I saw the deck in the case and when I asked Tyler about it (since he works at NBA Car Stereos and they do a lot of things like this) he said that's a killer deal on that deck! So it was a lil of both, impulse and research lol
