Question about my headunit "aftermarket"

I bought this stereo, and it works and all. When i put it in, it went into demo mode. So i disabled demo mode, like it said in the manual.

So, when i select source, it goes as if its fixing to play the cd, or the tuner, and it shuts off. Nothing.

Works and turns on fine. But when i want to hear something. It just shuts off. Any ideas?

sounds like a defective head unit. try taking it back where you got it, if that doesnt work you can call tech support for the brand stereo it is, maybe get something done under warranty if it has one. i doubt its anything you can fix yourself

yeah either give them a call, or just have it sent out to be looked at if you can... it sounds like something internal is shorting or something like that, not anything you can really fix yourself.
