How to check if amp is working?
i have a sony 760 watt amp that has just been sitting in my truck because like 2 years ago i let a friend test his amp with my subs and he blew them (but he did pay me for them).
How could i check to see if it still works? It's not plugged in to the door speakers, but i'm assuming it's plugged into the cd player.
(sorry if i sound ignorant on the subject, but i know absolutly nothing about this kind of stuff)

well, if it is wired up already, just trun your truck on and see if a light is on. Usually if it's a green light it's good and if its a red light something is wrong.
If it's not hooked up buy an amp wiring kit, a 1000W kit will do, and run the RCAs on one side of the truck and power/groun/speaker wires on the other.
