Stealth Bass
Hey guys, I need a bass that i can fit under my seat, and or somewhere else that doesnt restrict my jump seats from being used. (99' Ranger 4x4 SuperCab) Im really tight on money so that definatley plays in, and i also lack the knowledge of wiring and such... found this sub. Only a 8" but do you think it could bump the cab enough? http://www.crutchfield.com/p_777B8PT...ures_and_specs
Im trying to find one with the power source built in, like this one. So if anyone out there is dealing with the same problem, and or has a solution, i am open to any responses. Thanks! |
I would go with a better brand unit. like an Infinity BassLink

Have you guys even seen it done, a nice sub with both fully fuctional jump seats?

Yes, but you're going to need shallow-mount subs and boxes. The bass will be less than stellar but you probably aren't expecting competition level sound.

If your'e looking for something you can just buy and drop in, check out the MTX Thunderform. It goes under the jump seats with a small piece that goes over the driveshaft hump in the floor at the back of the cab.
If you can make a box for yourself, I would recommend a Lanzar Max8p. I have one in mine, and I was able to make a box that goes under one of the jump seats. I am very happy with it. I listen to a wide variety of music, so I've been able to evaluate it for pretty much any listening preferences. |
