RADIO SAYS NO CLOCK

RADIO SAYS NO CLOCK
This has happened before but I don't remember how I resolved the issue. When I hit clock it shows NO CLK. I know how to set the time and all so that's not a prob. When I press and hold the clock button and hit the seek for hour set it jumps back to the radio. Please advice. Thanks in advance for everyone's help! Oh before anyone's says to look at manual it doesn't have a section for troubleshooting for this type of issue.

My bad it's a 2001 ranger factory radio, i get everything normal like before just that when I hit the clock button it shows no clock. When I try to set the clock it reverts back to radio when holding down the clock button and hitting the scan for hour setting. Like I said it happen once before just last year, I figured it out but can't remember what I did.

Fair enough
get your owners manual here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/genera...1-models-3747/
I bet it is in there somewhere, and its good to have the manual in any case

If manual doesn't have it then my best guess would be to unhook the battery for 5 minutes then reconnect it, unhook just the Positive cable
Radio will be reset back to factory defaults, if it still says NO CLOCK then radio is broken, well the clock part is
If you don't want to disconnect battery pulling these fuses in cab fuse box
#29, if key is off just pull this one fuse, this is the backup/full time power to keep presets and clock working
These power radio with key on

These are based on wiring diagrams I have for 2001 Rangers, disconnecting battery would be best since you will KNOW all power is cut and radio will be reset to factory defaults with power up
