Assuming .85 per sub?
The box you have that 2, is that total or is the box split and that's per chamber?
If the sub's are recommended to have .85 each and the box you have is a total of 2, you are talking about a difference of .3 total. If you take into account the volume of your subs as well, then you are basically at the recommended volume amount and they should sound just fine.

not exactly...my L7 12's recomend 1.5 cubic feet of air max 3..im runnin 4.12 on each and its very loud and very deep..it wont hurt your subs might actually make them sound better and its really depends on the box type..is each chamber sealed..or are they linked with no baffle inbetween them...and a sealed box to a ported box..id go ported before i went sealed...your not going to hurt the subs if thats what your wondering.

I'm going to be using a JL powerwedge enclosure for two 12's. I'm not exactly sure of which model enclosure it is, but I got it for free and I am going to make use of it since I have no use of my extended cab anyways. And yes, the total space for just one of the subs is .85 cubic inches. Thanks for the help.
