supercrewsound speaker boxes?

i have a regular cab 2001 and i am wondering if any of yall have any experience with the speaker boxes that supercrewsound.com offers.im looking to run 2 kicker cvt 10s and i wantto know how much room do you loose with this box.another question for you regualr cab guys, since most of you more than likely had to remove your jack where did you wind up putting it?or did you throw it in the garage and call it done lol.

well i can tell you that seats all the way back you can squeeze in two tens the measurements that i have figured out are pretty basic. These where with the seats all the way back.
11 inch tall
4.5" top depth
7.5 inch bottom depth

as for the jack removed the whole thing from the floor and used self tapping screws to mount it in my bed corner (i have a tonneau cover)

build a custom ported box for 2 8" SA8s
these sundowns will be louder then the kickers and are better quality.

i dont want 8's and i dont build my own boxes.i dont own wood tools and dont have the time.thats why im asking about this particular box.thanks anyhow.

unfortunately 10s are a pretty tight fit. i personally dont like the space comprimise involved. im kinda sorting things out as we speak, i may be doing four 8"s in my reg cab. i just finished a box yesterday for my buddys expo we literally sent 150 bucks total to include a circular saw, jig saw and a sander

idk where my jack is. hmmm prob should find it. took it out when i put my subs in.
go to a shop and get a box made cheap.

i've got a '04 reg cab with the supercrewsound box and i really didn't lose much space, not like i really started out with space cuz im 6'3"
i really feel like for the price and month i spent waiting for it the quality could have been ALOT better, but at the same time its the best option next to the mtx thunderform

I hear you there man.did you get the extra 5/8 depth added to the box or did you just get standard fare?if I had the knowledge and time and tools I would build my own.I would wind up building the same type of box anyhow though.I'm 5'10" so I'm hoping to fit okay.

larsmiller08 04-12-2010 09:28 AM

nah i got the smaller one and used shallow subs
and i was planning on making it myself but i figured it was worth it to have someone else do it....seemed like it would be pretty easy to **** it up
