Thanks Justin.
Today I start on the speaker install & painting door panels.
Not sure yet when my sub enclosure & Alpine amp will show up, no tracking # yet so I may do the H/U install until the other stuff shows up. That will be tomorrows project if I get all 4 speakers installed today.

Not much prep work, Scrubbed the panel down with Denatured Alcohol Solvent with a green pad to get it nice & clean.
Used rattles cans(Rustoleum Black Primer,Metallic Night Black & 3 coats of Clear).
Did the other door today:

Another door today, I guess I'm good for 1 door a day before it gets to hot out.

Thanks, tomorrow I'll do the last door, Monday I'll install the H/U even though I haven't got the amp or Sub Enclosure yet. Its amazing what a set of decent speakers will do & the Fatmat knocked out all the rattles I had in the drivers rear door.

Completed the last door today, sounds great considering I'm running off of the H/U right now.

Thanks, be sure you do the outer door shell as well, not just the surface that the door panel clips into. I was amazed this morning @ the difference just installing the H/U...I kinda wonder why I even ordered a 4 channel amp now.

How much flatmat did you use?

Alpine makes killer units. I was at a members house and was playing my Sirius Sat Radio through the Alpine and couple of the guys thought I installed a sub. lol

All i have is cheap pioneers in the front doors.

Alpine is all I'll ever buy, I'm so happy with mine.

Alpine FTW! If I didn't have a slightly more original source for my music, I'd have an Alpine headunit in my truck for sure.

Thanks guys, not sure how much Fatmat I used but I have 1 full roll & way over half of another. I bought a 100SQFT of the stuff so I'm sure I still have plenty to do the floor next week.
