under seats
i love the stock sound in the ranger but i feel i could get a bit more out of it so I'm wondering has anyone put any amps or subs under there seats if not would this idea work i don't want to sacrifice the rear seating area at all and it would hie the equipment nicely. also i'm new as far as car audio goes what are the better brand names for speakers out there, i know for normal speakers i only work with Bose, Harmon kardon, and sennhieser. so a little education would be nice, also I'd like to get a deck with one of those built in screens do you guys think I'd be better off getting one with one that would slide out or the type that is just there like a double din.

Ford has the space, go with double din... I used to work in car audio at Best Buy, the flip out screens break constantly and are always in for service. They also sell Alpine and Infinity speakers, those 2 are the best brands IMO. You MIGHT be able to fit an amp under your seat, it'd be tight, no way you'll fit a sub tho. As far as a double din stereo goes... I'd say probly go with Pioneer, I think they have a good one.
