Thinking about getting this

Well my 6 disc went out about a year ago and I yesterday pulled it apart and got my cd's out, tinkered with it but couldn't get it to work.....so I started looking around for an aftermarket headunit.

What do you think about this, I think it is a good deal for what it has and I'm not planning on watching dvd's on it all day or anything so I don't need a flashy 7" screen.

I've heard good reviews on it unlike some others with the same capabilities.

And I don't care about sound or anything as long as it sounds as good as stock and it works when I press the buttons is fine with me.

well I found the non hd radio version which is the same but cheaper, but my whole plan was to use the $200 dollars in gift cards I have, but that won't work because online stores don't except multiple payments.

well apparently no one cares

j/k

I did get the first one for 209 with everything to install it.

I must say crutchfield is f%^king awesome. They took the two gift cards once I called them and did everything to help. I tried other places that had it in stock to see if they would take the gift cards with no luck.

So now I just have to wait for it to come in Oh, well I got it for $9 out of my pocket so I guess I can wait.

Looks like a real nice unit! I don't normally shop with crutchfield being their prices are normally way higher but they have awesome customer service.

I searched around on it and crutchfield was actually the lowest for this one.

Probably because they had already cut 20 off then I had a code for another 20 off and free shipping.

can't beat it.

I think I could have got it from somewhere else for 199 but then there is shipping, then I have to get install stuff. So it would have been way over.

Awesome. I don't see how you can watch a DVD on that little screen though lol. Does it have video outputs to hook up a bigger screen?

yes it does.

I don't think I will really use the dvd player unless I put mp3's on a dvd or have a concert on dvd.

I will have to try and watch one though just to see if you can actually see it haha

I have to say being able to watch DVDs made my trip to texas go by so much faster. A concert on DVD would be sweet too, I'll have to get some

I don't have the Jenson model, but the screens the same size and you can see it pretty good.

Your not going to get too far away from the screen in a Ranger anyway.

well i wouldnt get a jensen.... i dont really like them but if your on a tight budget or something then go for it man. all i would suggest is buying and extended warrany for it... i used to work at besy buy and when ppl would want to buy the brtand Dual radios i would flat out say that there not good. however if the were on a budget then i would sell it to them with a extended warranty and if anything went wrong it would be replaced for free for four years... so do that
