For those who have or have heard a tremor system, how does it sound? I'm just curious about the box. Id be running an Alpine type-r 10" sub instead of the pioneer one that comes with it but idk how the quality of the box is.

Make a custom box, you'll be able to get it to sound better.

 

nah they usually had buckets and an "Fx4" shorty console.

yeah like 8 years. Its made out of plastic, idk whats on the inside. I plan to make my own box or use what i currently have for an enclosure because i prefer having a 12" woofer.

 

What Head unit do you have?

You should look into a Multi-speaker system if the H/U can handle it. high to Midrange speakers in your doors, Mid-low's in your cab doors and a single 10" woofer (even an 8") would provide some punch.

lol i just blew my kappa perfect 12.1(its old).....i believe its a problem with a tinsel lead because i have to press down on the sub for it to start hitting.

I have kappas in the doors so i'm all set with speakers. Just looking to replace my woofer since its blown. I may try to fix it if i get bored tomorrow

 

I bought a device (even posted a thread on here and got my info from another member) since I wanna keep the stock head unit but run a sub. Eventually I will splice into the speakers in the rear and throw my 10" in the back. I'd love the tremor box as it would still allow me to put storage on top of it.

I've got some of the newer ones with Neodymium magnets in them. (smaller overall, more power) I had to trim my cab door opening a bit. (took some angled metal shears and cut a bit over the blade with out) but man, they sound great.

The only thing i don't have yet is a sub and a better head unit to power it.

 

I think thats just a full length console found in some newer level 2's (ive been looking for one forever)

Yes, that's just the fx4 console w/ the sound system that came with the sub.

 

The Tremor System sounds nice man, I have an '02 Tremor and the system still works. I'm looking to upgrade my speakers in the doors and such like STXDanger is suggesting. Any good reasonably priced brands people can recommend?

Also seeing what is in the box the space can definitely be used better. I gotta see what I can do to add some more subs or something. Anyone got suggestions?

The Tremor Console is a two piece Console, as pictured above, made for the Tremor, not an FX4... LvL II or not. It has a shorty console and the add on front portion with the amp and speaker.
FX4 had the shorty consoles.

If you want a full length console AND can find one, the Tremor Console would be good one for fitting in.
As stated, it would be an old system and would need up dating but watch for vibrations in the plastic box.

Didn’t know that… I thought they only came in the Tremors, proably just left overs and had to be used up and make the newer FX4 a little different.
