I am needing some inspiration. Got tired of sifting through car domain, so I bring it onto you, the reader, to post some pictures of your sub box. Preferably ported designs for a supercab.

You know you want to... :)

i'll have to wait till tomorrow to take some pics of mine.. i have 2 12"s in a sealed box (ported coming soon); they face forward towards the back of the seats.. then on top of that box i built a shelf/amp rack to display my 2 amps, cross overs, and distribution block.

so far its worked really well.. im soon going to build a ported box for the subs, and might try to cut down on space and reposition the subs somehow. when i get the pics up for you, you'll notice that with the rear doors open, you can see exposed wires from my amps, etc. from the amp rack.. i was planning on building false panels to finish off the side of the "deck" ..but never got around to it sinse i've found myself using those little areas as storage areas for whatever i might need to fit back there... if you dont understand what im talkin about, you'll see what i mean in the pics tomorrow.. so, till then..

hey man, sorry it took me a little while to get the pics for ya, i was busy yesterday and didnt have time.. but here they are.

if i take some time, i can clean up the wiring a little (tuck it away some, etc..), and have the shelf look a little more presentable, but, again, i have no time anymore.. so till i do, the wires are stayin as is!!

heres where the rca's go thru the deck.. i had some basic monster cable RCAs before, so both pairs fit thru the hole.. i've upgraded to a better set, and havent made the hole bigger for both sets to fit thru, so this is what it looks like now!! oh well..

heres a pic of the center of the deck.. the thing on the top is my distribution block.. cuts my power wire from 0 gauge to 4 gauge to power the 2 amps.. the "egg" lookin thing below it is my 2 cross overs for my front components..

another pic of the center, with seats in possition..

here's the tweeters i flush mounted in my dash.. i kept them about 2 inches from the windshield to have the sound spread out evenly across the windshield.. it worked perfectly- nice and loud!!!

...and here's 2 pics of the sides of my system.. you can see what i was talking about in these pics.. when the rear doors are closed, there's a small "cubby hole" left on either side of the sub box, which i use to hold whatever i can fit in there.. i was planning on building some false panels to tie everything together, and to hide the wires that hang down.. but never got around to it!!!

in the two pics above, youll see i have a piece of carpet laying on the ground infront of the box.. that was to block off the empty space below the box, i didnt want anything to roll off the center console and get trapped way under there while driving or anything.. it works.. plus, when doors are closed and seats are in possition, you cant even see the ground, so all is good!!!!

anyway, theres my box and amp rack/shelf!!!!! like i said, i wanna take the box out and build maybe a wider one so i can port it.. my subs will be soo much better when they get ported!!!! hope you get some sort of idea of what youd like to do, or not to do!!!!

Did you make that box? I just made a box for storage in my truck but may soon seal it and make it a sub/storage box.
