visonik

i'm looking for a cheap sub and amp. today i was at walmart and they have a 300watt amp with a 10'' sub from visonik for $50.

will it sound decent or is it just a waist of money? keep in mind that i have no money or a job and i'm in school. i will upgrade later.

I don't think it's worth it. Save whatever money you can and do it right the first time.

this is what i was thinking. spend $50 for an amp and a sub. it might not be the best, but its better than nothing. use it until i have the money for something better which will be in the spring/summer. once i have upgraded, i can sell it to some kid for at least $50.

i just want to know if you think it will sound ok.

here is a link click here

Check it bro. Have you ever heard "You get what you pay for?" Well it counts double in stereo equipment. If you buy cheap ****. Your system will sound just like ****! Buy decent stuff. You'll get an alright sound.

My friend had it in his car. It didn't sound good loud but sounds decent for the price. Now he's got that amp and a kenwood 12" tornado of mine.

Trust me save your money and do it the right way the first time. I have gone though countless systems in my vehicles and wished I had just saved my money in the first place.

I never understand why people ask for advice when they are going to do it either way.

As long as your happy, thats what counts. The stock bass sucked and I'm sure even what you just bought is an improvement over it. Their is no way you would have been able to afford a loud system anyways while not working. This **** can get expensive. Just my beginner setup with two 8's and a p3001 amp cost me around 6-700 installed.
