i know how to read.. and i did read it. its too bad that the only proof you have is a 156.. till then, anything else is only as good as b.s. is taken.. which is why i said get it measured again if you can, and this time get proof.

I'm running 1 Kicker solo baric 12" L7 in a ported box, with a SX.1250.1, with a panasonic CQ-CB8901U with infinity conponents. I actually just bought the L7 tonight, planning on installing it tomorrow, I can't wait to hear what that ****er sounds like, especially after i mess with the amp.

I plan on putting another L7 in there when i get another 400 bucks, but for now, 1 L7 is loud enough

oh the amp is only pushin about 700 right now, at 2 ohms, so when i bump that puppy to 1 ohm, im lookin at 1500.

i only payed 400 for that amp off ebay, and that sucker runs like a dream.

i tend to blow my subs, so i go to circut city, and buy the package for the subs, so if i blow it, i get a new one for free. Let me tell you, when i had my 12'' CVR in there, i made really good use of that plan, i got 14 new subs for free :)

and bababoy, i was looking at your sounddomain page, and i was wondering where you got your alternator?

i already fried the stock, and just put a new stock in. I need a new alternator right now when i bump my amp to 1 ohm, else when my truck is redlining, ill still be draining my battery like hell.

i think i have a 175a in there now, but im lookin at about a 200 or even bigger

how much did you pay for it?

the stock you are talking about does 175? the stock in a ranger prolly does 80-90a at full tilt, and like 15-20 prolly at idle, that amp dosent pull that many amps, your only running 700 watts, my old alt was a 105a max alt did about 20 @ idle my new one does 100+ at idle and about 200a at 1800rpms, it is an excessive amperage www.excessiveamperage.com the guy thats owns it(nathan) is real cool, give him a call or email him, you will not need a bigger than 200ish, that amp will not pull over 200a, my power acoustik wich is supposed to be 2300rms but more like 1800-2000 pulls about 170-180a

do you remember how much you paid for it?

and do i have to send them my alt so they can modify it, or do they just send a brand new one.

im planning on getting a 2-3 farad cap, and even with that, would i still need that kinda alt? or is the stocker alright?

1600W 4ch legacy amp, 2 500W pyramid 10" in a dual ported box with custom lights and fibreglass window, pioneer DEH head unit, 2 pioneer 6x9's in the back, and factorys in the front... The entire thing costed me around $500 I think, all from ebay except the 6x9's. Legacy and Pyramid arn't the greatest brands. I can't bridge the the subs on the amp or it will trip for some reason, but if I run each one off it's own channel it works fine, and they pound pretty good in the little supercab.
